It runs on a 21-jewel hand-wound movement with a day-date display, which is where the \"Weekly\" name comes from. It sits in a compact steel case that is pure 1960s tool watch: sharp, purposeful, and sized for wrists of the era. The matte black dial keeps everything clean and legible. It belongs to the same family that gave rise to the Calendar Auto Orient divers, and it shares their refusal to play it safe.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eToday's offering is new old stock. It is the watch that set the template the later 6105-8110 \"Uemura\" would make famous: a 150m automatic diver built for real use, with a matte black dial, applied luminous markers and minimal text.
