The 61GS series launched in 1967 and there were a vast variation of models that were produced throughout the production run of the series (51 models in total) that lasted until 1975.
This is an all-original vintage 6146-8000 Grand Seiko employing the famous G.O.D (grammar of design) case design first introduced in the 44GS. This 61GS is the late version with the applied GS logo above the 6 O'clock marker with the Hi-Beat 36000 printing. It is extremely rare for a 61GS to come with such condition and this is a chance to own this historic piece.

Overall, this piece is in nice vintage condition. The case has some light scratches and appears to be unpolished as it retains sharp edges with a beautiful Tanaka grammar of design profile.
