During World War II, the US military took control of numerous golf courses in Japan. When these courses were handed back to Japan in the 1950s, there was a significant increase in enthusiasm for the sport.
As golf's popularity soared, Seiko celebrated by creating special Golf watches under its Cronos hand-wind line in limited numbers. These included unique belt buckles with hidden watches, golf-themed pocket watches, and the distinctive Cronos cased in a 13074.
The 13074 is particularly unique, featuring a golf ball design on both the dial and the case back. The cream-patterned dial, adorned with white dots to represent a golf ball, is surrounded by a beautiful silver bezel with black minute markers. The iconic mountain hands perfectly complement this design, and the domed crystal adds depth, enhancing the watch's golf ball-like appearance.
Paired with Olive Cowhide leather straps from our partner Accurate Form to give it a bit of sporty flair, this watch is a great addition for any golf enthusiast looking for something truly unique.
