The 6105 has always had a strong cult following, but it’s only in recent years that the wider collecting world has discovered its quirky charm. From a design standpoint, it’s easy to appreciate the asymmetrical case but also the interesting crown construction that locks the push-pull crown in by using a small post and grooves.
The matte black dial features minimal text, with the Seiko logo and “Automatic” at 12 o’clock, complemented by applied markers. This particular variant dubbed the “Resist,” adheres to updated ISO guidelines with modified text on the dial and case back.
Today we’re offering a beautiful JDM RESIST/RESIST example that comes with its original box.
The “Uemura” is one of the most celebrated vintage tool watches out there today, not only because it played a role in Uemura’s Alaska journey, but it was also popular with divers of the time.
