A few years later, Seiko expanded the line with the LM Special, crafted by Daini Seikosha and powered by the high-beat 52xx family. It was designed to sit just below King Seiko and Grand Seiko, with refined casework, applied indices and a movement held to a higher standard.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe \"Special\" printed on the dial is no mere marketing flourish. In vintage Seiko terminology, it signifies a higher grade of movement regulation. The Calibre 5216A inside also brings practical refinements: hacking seconds, and quick-set for both the day and the date.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eThe 5216-6030 pairs all of that with a blue dial under a faceted cut glass crystal.
