Unlike the typical date window at 3 o'clock, the Autodator's date display increments at midnight and can also be adjusted manually via a small pusher near the crown.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBy 1953, Seiko conformed to Swiss norms with the release of the Self Dator, featuring the more conventional 3 o'clock date window. That shift makes the Autodator an even rarer find today, especially in pristine condition. Finding one with its original chrome plating intact is nearly impossible, until now. This gem, a stunning new old stock example, has aged gracefully while retaining all its original details.
