Grand Seiko 56GS 5645-7010 Silver Dial

Some watches are worn and loved. This one was simply kept.

The 56GS series was introduced in 1970 and offered a wide variety of models, 35 in total. It was also the first to introduce an ultra-thin automatic calibre, at just 4.5mm. Following Taro Tanaka's Grammar of Design rules, the -7010 and -7011 cases come with sharp edges, mirror-polished bevels and a brushed finish on the surfaces between the lugs. They're the most common vintage Grand Seiko you can find on the market, which is exactly why a truly untouched one stands out.

This is the Ref. 5645-7010, the date-only version, which gives the silver dial a cleaner and more balanced layout than its day-date sibling. Today's offering is new old stock and has never been worn. The case still carries its factory lines, and the original sticker on the caseback is still intact.

Once purchased, the watch will undergo servicing before shipment. Please allow 1–2 months for the servicing to be completed.

The case is immaculate and retains its factory-sharp edges and the full Tanaka Grammar of Design profile.

The silver dial is immaculate, and the original handset and crown are in pristine condition. The glass is free of visible scratches.

The original caseback and gold medallion are immaculate, with the original sticker still intact.

The watch comes on black Himeji Kurozan leather straps with its original signed GS buckle.
